In the base Vanguard game, the Type 100 is able to down an opponent at close range in only two bullets. This gun sits right around the average these days. That said, this gun's slower time to kill has seen it fall off over the past season or so, in favor of some of the more impressive Vanguard guns. The LC10 has a slightly lower time-to-kill than the MAC-10, but it has very manageable vertical recoil that can reliably challenge enemies in short and medium-range fights. The LC10 has been a really strong weapon since its release. This weapon is great for players who value mobility and the ability to almost instantly down an enemy at point-blank range. This gun has a high rate of fire, resulting in a very fast time-to-kill. The Welgun has proven to be one of the best SMGs in Warzone over the past couple of months. It's solidly Tier A as we take to Caldera in Warzone Pacific Season 2. Once equipped with the 60 round magazine and attachments to reduce its recoil, the MP7 transforms into a powerful laser that can quickly eliminate multiple foes at close range using a single clip. The MP7 is a great SMG choice in Warzone. This is a great, low recoil short to medium range weapon that is sure to delight anyone who tries it out. This gun is meta-defining, and will remain near the top in Warzone Pacific Season 2. It has a huge magazine and a very high bullet velocity, allowing it to excel in both close-range and medium-range gun fights, as well as take on multiple opponents without needing to reload. The Bullfrog has been slaying over the past few seasons of Warzone. It has fallen behind the OTs and MP-40 a bit, but don't be mistaken, this gun can still rock in Warzone Pacific. This gun has been S-Tier for a couple years now, and will likely remain there with one of the fastest fire rates and fastest times to kill in the SMG category. Nothing can quite kill the MAC-10 in Warzone. With the right attachments, you can turn the Owen gun into a flexible and fun SMG in Warzone Pacific Season 2. While this gun has a slower fire rate than many of the SMGs on this list, it excels in being versatile, able to take on opponents at a wide variety of ranges. The Owen Gun is a unique-looking SMG that came to Warzone Pacific by way of Vanguard. It is great in close range, assuming you use the right build for it, and it can even be used in medium ranges in a pinch. In Warzone Pacific Season 2, this gun is holding its own in the top 5 for the SMG category. The OTs 9 SMG slowly but surely climbed its way to the top of the SMG meta over the past three seasons. This weapon has long been a favorite for COD players, and it is looking like the top gun for Warzone Pacific Season 2. The MP40 is wicked powerful, especially after you equip it with its higher-level attachments. One of the deadliest weapons in Vanguard became the most deadly gun in the game last season, boasting an impressive 16% pick rate.
